Admission Requirements

Getting admission to a Cypriot university is straightforward. For an Undergraduate (Bachelor's) degree, you need a valid SSC and HSC/A-Level certificate. Applicants must typically be between 17 and 25 years old.

For a Postgraduate (Master's) program, a recognized 4-year Bachelor’s degree and complete transcripts are required. Almost all major programs are taught entirely in English, meaning you won't face any complicated European language barriers during your studies!

Language Requirements

English proficiency is required for university admission and visa processing. Cyprus has very accessible score requirements compared to other European countries.

Visa Process & Interview

Once you get your official Admission Letter, your university will apply to the Cyprus Migration Department on your behalf. You will need to show a bank sponsor (only 10-12 Lakh BDT), a fresh Police Clearance, and Medical Certificates (TB, Hep B/C, HIV, Syphilis).

You will need to attend a short interview at the Honorary Consulate in Banani, Dhaka. They will ask simple questions about your study intent, your chosen university, and who is sponsoring your education. Once approved, you get your "Entry Permit" in 4 to 6 weeks!

Tuition Fees & Scholarships

Cyprus offers excellent merit-based scholarships. Depending on your HSC/Bachelor results, you can secure between 10% to 75% off your tuition!

Part-Time Jobs & Post-Graduation Career

International students in Cyprus are legally allowed to work part-time for up to 20 hours per week during the semester, and full-time (40 hours) during summer vacations! Jobs in hotels, restaurants, delivery services, and tourism are abundant. After graduation, if you secure a long-term job, you can apply for a work visa and eventually pathway to Residency.
